The inaugural APRIL Stakeholder Forum on FSC Remedy, held in Bogor, Indonesia on June 19-20, 2024, marked a significant step forward in transparent and collaborative implementation of the FSC’s remedy framework for APRIL. In collaboration with FSC International and in cooperation with WWF Indonesia and Forest Peoples Programme, the Forum facilitated a constructive dialogue between APRIL, stakeholders, and rights holders.

Nearly 90 participants, including community leaders, Indigenous representatives, and NGO representatives from impacted regions, brought diverse perspectives to the forum. This multi-stakeholder platform brought together key stakeholders to achieve the following objectives:

• Build a shared understanding of the APRIL remedy process.
• Foster awareness of opportunities for positive outcomes.
• Gather valuable participant input to strengthen the process.
